On a recent consulting engagement, I came across a new one.
On Nutanix AHV Hypervisor, when trying to install a VDA on an intended golden image VM, no option for Machine Creation Services or Provisioning Services is available. Only the option for Remote PC appears.
Here’s a potential solution for anyone encountering the issue.
We see the following screen upon VDA install. Only the option for Remote PC is available:
The “solution” is to turn off Windows Defender Credential Guard under Boot Configuration (I’ll need to do further research to see if this is still usable within a CVAD/DaaS environment).
